Our first family fishing trip of the year
and Owen would not move from the chair
for quite some time. He didn't want anything
to do with the fish or the pond.



Sophia has a new thing where she
must pose everytime you say "smile".
She apparently thought the pond made
for a great background and took advantage it!!

Owen finally got in on the action and had to try
out Sophie's pole. We took the hook off and let him
think he was fishing. He still would not go near any fish.



This is the first fish Sophia caught that day.
Her line was in the water for all of 2 minutes
when she got a bite.

Every Year Sophia's school has a "Big Wheels Day".
They bring their bikes, trikes, and scooters, and a
track is set up as well as a gas station, bank, car wash
and convienant store.




Here is Sophie washing her bike at the car wash,
"freddie" the fire truck is also getting washed by
the kids. He came to teach fire safety and also gave
out hats to the kids.

Happy 39 year Anniversary Mom & Dad!!!!!

Can you believe it! 39 years ago Larry George Martin and Betty Jean Graves tied the knot on April 19th 1968. 4 years later in October of 1972 Tara graced their little family. 4 years after that in February 1976 their was Kelly. 3 years later in January 1979 I came into their world, and who knew that 10 YEARS LATER in November of 1989 Ashley would surprise all of us! Our family has lived in many different places and seen plenty of unusual things. But the most amazing thing I have witnessed through my 28 years is the love my father and mother have for each other and their family. Their commitment to family and faith is truly something to strive for. 3 son-in-law's and 9 grandchildren later they are still hanging in their. I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to them because 39 years is a very, very, very long time!!!!!

Ashley's Junior Prom!!

She looked beautiful of course, and her

date was cute as well. The rented a

Party Bus that escourted 11 couples to

dinner and the prom!! How fun!

We also had a Easter Egg Hunt at

Grandma Martin's house. It was a race

between the cousins to see who could

get the most eggs. They were running

so fast you could barely get their pics!

Sophie's Preschool Easter Party was filled with

lots of fun and many, many, many candy

filled eggs. They sang songs for the

parents and went on a egg hunt outside.

It was so cold.....brrr!!!

Our very own Bob the Builder!

Well Jake surprised me with a new puppy a few
weeks ago. He is a chocolate cocker spaniel and so lovey.
I have always wanted this exact dog so it was quite
a shock when he came home from a date with Sophie
and had a new puppy. His name is Otis and he and Owen
have become two peas in a pod already.

Well Sophie found a costume of Owen's and wanted
to put if on. She just didn't know she was supposed
to leave her other clothes on as well. Oh, her chaps
were on backward as well!!!
